Warranty

TODCO warrants to the original end-user purchaser of the Products subject to all of the terms, conditions and limitations set forth in this Limited Warranty. TODCO's obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing, at its factory or by an authorized distributor, at TODCO's option, any Product which is determined by TODCO to be defective during the applicable warranty period. This limited warranty and is not transferable or assignable and any repair of a product undertaken without prior authorization from TODCO will void the warranty. The purchaser may be required to return the Product or component thereof to TODCO's factory, or otherwise as instructed by TODCO, with all transportation charges prepaid. CLAIMS MADE DURING THE APPLICABLE LIMITED WARRANTY TERM MUST: (1) be sent to Quality@TODCO.com; (2) be made prior to any repair or replacement work taking place; (3) be made within thirty (30) days after discovery of a covered issue; and (4) your request must include the TODCO door serial number and detailed digital photos of the covered issue. Any door or ramp operational issues should be reported to the truck body manufacturer prior to submitting a claim to TODCO.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DAMAGE CAUSED BY OR RELATED TO: improper application, installation or handling, water intrusion, normal weathering, accidents, fire, acts of God, harmful chemicals, fumes, vapors, surface deterioration due to air pollution, misuse or abuse, vandalism, airborne stains, mold & mildew accumulation, failure to provide proper maintenance (see interior door label), impact of foreign objects, warping or distortion due to exposure of excessive heat sources or exposure to excessive reflective heat sources, or any other causes beyond TODCO's reasonable control. Panel substrates are subject to change due to environmental conditions and are not considered defective for expected minor aesthetic changes that may occur. The warranty for Panel/Substrate Finish Coatings covers the adhesion to the panel and industry accepted levels of "orange peel" and other minor cosmetic characteristics are not covered. All hardware and wear items have a 1-year warranty on the coating adhesion which subject to change due to environmental conditions and minor aesthetic changes are not covered. The installer is responsible for installing TODCO components in accordance with TODCO’s instructions (see www.todco.com for details).

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL TODCO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR, OR LIABLE TO ANYONE FOR, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, COLLATERAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, even if TODCO has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Such excluded damages include, but are not limited to, loss of good will, loss of profits, loss of use, interruption of business, or other similar indirect financial loss.
